Going Green: What does it mean to you?

AQC Challenge 2020: The theme for the eagerly anticipated annual AQC Challenge has been announced and it is … ‘Going Green’.

“This time we wanted the theme for the AQC Challenge 2020 to be topical but also open to completely different interpretations. It should also be able to execution in either traditional or contemporary styles. Each year we are amazed at the incredibly innovative and creative entries we receive,” says Judy Newman of Expertise Events, organizers of the Australasian Quilt Convention.

Entries are due online by February 7, 2020. An amazing cash prize pool of $5,500 is on offer. First prize will be awarded $3500, runner up will receive $1500 and the Viewers’ Choice will receive $500.

Entries are juried and judged with up to 30 finalists selected and displayed at the AQC in Melbourne in April, 2020. Finalists will also be displayed around Australia and in New Zealand at various events. Judging will be based on:
