DIY Hair Tie Set with Button Covering, 3 sets each pack

The hair tie set made by Clover is very easy to use!

You can make your handmade hair tie by covering the button with your favorite fabrics, sashiko or embroidery.
You don’t need a special tool.
The set in this pack does not include fabrics or rubber band.
The hair tie in the image is a sample.

Each set contains a button cover and a base. Each pack has 3 sets.

Approx. size: Circle 40mm in diameter; Oval 45mm x 35mm

Material: polypropylene

How to use: (a pic here is for demonstration)

1- Use the template provided, on the wrong side of your chosen fabric, trace the area where brooch button is going to cover (dotted line); then trace the solid line which indicates size of fabric.

2- If you would like to, sashiko stitch or embroider the fabric you choose.

3- At about 4-5mm away from edge of fabric, running stitch a circle without cutting thread.

4- Put button covering (dome shaped plastic part) on wrong side of fabric, pull thread and gather. Then cut thread off.

5- push the base (the other plastic part) onto fabric covered plastic dome. 2 round dots from dome should fit into 2 holes in flat base. And there should be a “click” sound.

6- Lift two “legs” up and tie your rubber band then finished!
