This Sashiko Pin Cushion DIY Kit is a great project for beginners. The Pattern of Hitomezashi (one stitch Sashiko) has already been drawn on natural indigo hand dyed fabric. All you need to do is stitching! It can be stitched in either the patterns shown in the pictures which are a structural type of stitches or weaving thread through those stitches afterwards to create a different pattern. Literally the types of patterns you can create is limitless which is the fun part of Hitomezashi!
The base fabric of this pin cushion is precious and hard to find vintage home woven cotton fabric. This makes the project classic and fun to make. You can add beads (not included in the kit) as shown in pictures or just leave as is.
Dimension of the fabrics is 13x13cm. Dimension of stitched pattern id 10x10cm.
