Olympus sashiko Needles assorted

Olympus sashiko needles are strong. They have oval shaped big eyes on one end for easy threading of thick sashiko threads. The other end have sharp points.

This package contains 4 assorted needles (4 different sizes). Refer to pictures for length of each needle.

They are good for thick threads and relatively open woven fabric. If your design allows (lots of long straight lines) and if you prefer to stitch fast with lots of stitches on your needle, then those longs needles are second to none.

If you are like me, taking sashiko as a mindful practice and tend to stitch slow; or your fabric is relatively tight woven; or your design has lots of curves and your thread isn’t too thick, then shorter ones are preferred.
