Sashiko stitch is basically a running stitch which is easy to learn. But drawing the patterns onto fabric can be time consuming and problematic. We offer a series of Sashiko stencil templates that will make drawing the patterns more convenient, accurate and time saving so you can concentrate on stitching.

All templates can be used to extend the pattern applied to your design.

Sashiko template little crosses

Sashiko is a Japanese embroidery technique. It is a beautifully simple style of stitch work and easy to learn. The traditional white cotton thread on blue indigo cloth gives sashiko its distinctive appearance.

「Direction for use 」

The Template is highly transparent. Please remove protective film that is either brown or milky white.
Place template over fabric you like to have pattern on. Run marker through the slots. Remove the template from fabric to see the drawn pattern.
This template is made of high quality acrylic and can be reused for a long time.
Acrylic material is strong but brittle, please store carefully after use.
