The Daiwabo/Handworks Calm Collection from original Daiwabo designer Junko Matsuda is breathtakingly beautiful. Made with a blend of cotton (85%) and linen (15%) they have a rich depth of colour and are just slightly heavier than customary sheeting. This taupe collection of medium and small florals include a pen and ink like outline print and each coordinates wonderfully with other taupe fabrics.

Daiwabo has been known for many years as an exceptional textile mill producing well-made and sought-after Japanese Taupe yarn dyes and printed fabric. Sometime in 2018, Daiwabo sold off it’s quilting textiles division . They are now being produced under the name Handworks. Many of original designers of Daiwabo are still at work bringing new fabrics to us.
