This set includes four assorted needles, each differing in size. Referencing the accompanying pictures provides clarity on the length of each needle.

These needles excel when used with thick threads and relatively open-woven fabrics. If your design incorporates many long straight lines and you prefer to stitch rapidly with multiple stitches on your needle, these longer needles are unparalleled.

However, if you practice sashiko like I do, stitching slowly as a mindful approach, or if your fabric is tightly woven, or your design includes numerous curves and thinner threads, then shorter needles are more suitable.
